Alliance Microfinance

Alliance Microfinance AS (AMAS) is a non-profit microfinance management company fully owned by the Norwegian Mission Alliance. We contribute to job creation and betterment of livelihood for poor and disadvantaged people in developing countries, by giving access to business knowledge, loans, savings, insurance and other financial services. Our approach, "the AMAS-way", is developed through nearly 30-years of operations in Latin America, Africa and Asia, starting in Bolivia in 1991.

- We are value-driven, bold on missions and visions, and hold high ethical standards. - We take controlling stakes in our investments, either alone or together with a strategic partner. - We hold BOD-positions to oversee our investments. - We work closely together with the microfinance institutions in order to achieve the best performance and social results.
