Yesu Girma

Yesu is a finance and development professional with expertise in financial inclusion, private sector development, and economic empowerment. With a strong background in banking, agricultural finance, and business strategy, he has collaborated with regulators, financial institutions, and international development partners to design and implement innovative financial solutions. Yesu has worked extensively on projects aimed at fostering economic empowerment through inclusive lending models, impacting smallholder farmers and SMEs in Ethiopia.

Prior to his current role at AMAS, Yesu held key positions in Ethiopia's financial sector, gaining hands-on experience in financial product development, policy advocacy, and private sector growth strategies. He holds an MBA and is passionate about leveraging finance as a tool for sustainable economic growth and social impact, particularly through promoting financial inclusion and addressing systemic barriers to economic opportunity.
