Our Story

Mission Alliance started microfinance operations in Bolivia in 1991. It was seen that to be able to expand their work the wise decision would be to create a separate company with microfinance as the main focus. AMAS was then founded in 2009. It has since then developed its operations and expanded in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Since the beginning we have coined and fully adhere to the AMAS-way.

• We take controlling stakes in our investments, either alone or together with a strategic partner
