AMAS is proud to be invited by Norad (The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation) to the final round in the call for proposals under the grant scheme “Cooperation on framework conditions for private sector development in developing countries”. Together with the three other strong partners (Norwegian Church Aid, East African Holding and Bakken & Bæck), we submitted a concept proposal on targeting urban farmers in greater Addis Abeba area (Ethiopia). Through mobilizing and training, and by offering access to markets and offering of financial services, we shall help businesses and farmers grow to become sustainable, profitable and scalable – in order to provide more jobs and strengthen the economy of Ethiopia.
