Heidi Sandvand Hegertun

Heidi Sandvand Hegertun is Chairman of the Board of Alliance Microfinance AS (AMAS). She also holds the position of General secretary at AMAS' owner Misjonsalliansen (Mission Alliance, Norway).

Sandvand Hegertun has previously held the position as Head of Innovation at Norad (The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation) with responsibility for innovation across Norad’s portfolio, and holds a master's degree in development studies from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.

In recent years, she has held several leadership roles at Norad, as Deputy Director of the Knowledge Bank Department, acting Deputy Director of the Department for Partnerships and Shared Prosperity, and before that, Assistant Director General of the Oil for Development Section.
