Svein Arne Lende - new CEO of AMAS
The board of Alliance Microfinance (AMAS) has appointed Svein Arne Lende as the new CEO of AMAS. His name is Svein Arne Lende, he is 39 years, married, have three children and lives in Kristiansand, Norway

Svein Arne is a graduate economist with a MSc in Economics and Business Administration and also Master of Arts in Faith and Culture. Currently has a manager position in MHWirth, a Norwegian provider of drilling solution.


I look forward to working with poverty reduction and economic development in an exciting microfinance company. It is engaging, says Lende. He has extensive experience as manager and also many years of field work. He is a former country director for Norwegian Church Aid in Ethiopia, Administrative Leader for the Salem, an evangelical church Bergen, and has worked as a consultant in Norad. He has grown up in a missionary family, and has been a missionary in Ethiopia himself.


The Board of AMAS believe they have done a very good appointment and believe Lende’s many good qualities will make him a good and qualified manager of the company. Svein Arne Lende are motivated for job in AMAS and will begin his position 1st May. - I want to use financial instruments as a tools for long-term change for poor people, and I'm looking forward to start, he says.
